Definition: Original music intended for capturing a general vibe or energy within a specified genre, but lacking the finer components of tailored storytelling.
(better than your average Background music) - example: I’m looking for a 60 sec track with an 80’s power ballad sound

(Foreground music) - example: In two notes I can conjure your deepest darkest shark attack fears (even in a pool). The double bass, cellos and low brass in Jaws that build intenSITY LEADING UP TO SHARK ATTACKS THEN THE SUSPENSE OF A SUDDEN----
*Let’s be honest, without John Williams this would be a daytime SyFy channel Shark Week segment.
I wanna be the John Williams to your Steven Spielberg (for this <60 sec promo)
